Long Story, short…
I’m a woman of God. Brooklyn born and raised with an ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE perspective and a work ethic shaped by Jamaican parents.
That’s important, because it tells you how I look at the world. I believe that with Christ, I can do all things, and I expect to work for it. And work I do… SMARTER, not harder and have had some amazing career wins along the way:
- Led multi-million dollar national communication and marketing campaigns that impact millions of people around the globe.
- Published in top publications including the NY Times, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today and the Washington Post.
- Accelerated from contractor to leadership in under eight years – it usually takes about 20 years to do that – despite not looking like the ideal candidate on paper.
All of the career wins aside, it’s what I was doing on the side that really gave me life. When I wasn’t working, I was using my communication and marketing expertise and creative eye as a freelancer to make things happen for family, friends and anybody that needed help.
And I enjoyed and found fulfillment in helping people get that much closer to seeing and touching what they had drummed up in their head or heart – and I was good at it!
